3-1-05 Show # 140

The “Gonzo’s Gone-zo” show

This evening’s show was in memory of the shows literary muse, Dr. Hunter S. Thompson.

"He was a road man for the lords of karma."

Was it he who once said about Mainely Dead that “This will mushroom or mutate – either way – into a real craze”.

Actually, he said that about “Shotgun Golf”, while speaking with Bill Murray at 3:30 in the morning, but, had he said that about Mainely Dead, I would have been very happy.

Perhaps, for all of these years, that’s what this show has been all about - “Shotgun Golf”.

You “Stomped on Terra” indeed, Dr. Thompson, and we will miss you more than you would have ever believed – or cared.

“So long, and Mahalo”.

“Nixon”.
