4-26-05 Show # 144

The “This one’s for Scott” show

Just days before we went on air this evening, it was reported that Scott Larned, keyboardist for the band Dark Star Orchestra (DSO), died suddenly of a heart-attack at the age of 36.

Mainely Dead dedicated this show to Scott, and we would like to pass on our deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and the band.

For those who already won tickets on Mainely Dead to the Dark Star Orchestra show at the Hampton Beach Casino, in Hampton Beach, NH, please take note that the DSO Spring tour has been cancelled in full. For more information about Scott’s passing and the bands future plans, please visit their site at Dark Star Orchestra Home Page.

Fare thee well Scott, your passion, voice, and enthusiasm will surely be missed.
